Love : Food

After gaji dah masuk, sure makan luar kan… So sometimes we get to try various places that were told to have awesome food.

The other night after work, Abi fetched me at the LRT Chempaka and I was very very very hungry. The place was known as Istimewa Wak Tomyam in Ampang which serves mee bandung yg sedap. I was too hungry to try their mee bandung. So we ordered tomyam, lala cili and kerabu perut. Perut kenyang smp balik rumah tidur dulu baru lah boleh bangun balik settlekan diri hehe.



And today we tried another place called the SweetChat located at The Curve. This place already tried with Elly where i had the BBQ meltie cheese set. This time we tried the spaghetti bbq chicken and I had the curry laksa. Yummy 
The tong yuen filling peanuts pun sedap.



Sushi time

Remember the day I got disappointed for not going to duty travel?

Well, after that episode, we decided to go to OU and eat Sushi.

I’ve been eating sushi every month with my colleague, Elly… but this time it’s the 1st time I’m bringing abi and Izzuddin to the restaurant.

So, we ordered the usual stuff I eat for example Inari, California Roll, Edamame (pernah rasa), and then tried some other sushi. Abi got more adventurous and took Octopus sushi, and Unagi Roll… Not really a big deal to us, Unagi dah biasa makan – Tako Unagi and Belut goreng ;p

Then we went to Toys ‘R’Us and Izzuddin got to play as much as he could.

Call us cheapskate if you like… haha, he’s a toddler that is easily bored playing one toy and will immediately grab another toy. So rugi je if beli… keke..

Then we realized there was sale in Jusco, so we bought some clothes at very attractive price. .

At night, we went back to my parent’s house, to see Ayah who was preparing his Umrah trip on the 30th June 2010.

So, you see… the day I was disappointed wasn’t really that bad… I got to spend the afternoon with my family and get some great bargains as well. (“,)

Birthday Parties

Yup, 2 birthday parties last weekend that we attend.

This first one was Amir’s 2nd Birthday Party in Subang Jaya.

Happy Birthday Amir!

Kebetulan there was another party at the same time but in Putrajaya but I couldn’t manage to go coz I was driving, alone with Izzuddin. Sorry yer, Kak Ju. Happy Birthday Nik Alif too (am I right, Alif kan??)

Food was great!! I ate Nasi Beriani, Mee Rojak, 3 cupcakes, 3 creme puff, and ABC. Yikes! But I didn’t eat lunch so that was why I indulged so much, haha!

Dapat jumpa Elly (of course, tuan rumah), Ito, Liza SNUGGbaby, Mye, Kak Nita, not forgetting Ella and Ida (Elly’s twins).

The house was jam-packed with toys so of course, it was similar to a playground. And Playhouse Disney was airing on the TV. You bet Izzuddin would rather stay and watch Dibo the Gift Dragon (Dia tak sedar I went in and out to get some food aka creme puff).

On Sunday we went to Liza’s daughter, Afya’s 3rd Birthday Party in Popeye Louisiana Kitchen, TTDI.

Happy Birthday, Afya!

First time pergi fastfood chain ni, oklah… not too bad the taste. I like their mash potato… not as the normal stuff we eat from KFC or Kenny’s.

Unfortunately I was soooo lazy to take my camera (correction: Ayah’s DSLR) out from my bag that I didn’t take any photos.

Sorry yer Liza, I’m anxiously waiting for your pics in yer blog…

And the crepe cake was very different. Izzuddin liked it a lot. Mungkin sbb very light kot?

Yang paling best, most twitter mamas dapat attend the party. However I missed the photo they took together… Oh no!

Overall I think Izzuddin had a great time this weekend. Me too!!

Dinner Amaal

We seldom get to go to dinner functions together… this time it’s totally different. And it’s held so near, KGPA Bukit Kiara.

Amaal Taekwando is actually a sports organisation chaired by abi’s brother; my bro-in-law. So all family members can attend the function including Izzuddin!

It’s merely a family gathering as well, as most of us actually know each other anyway… yada yada… its the same people working with Abi since he joined Tholand Waey (tourist agency).

Food was so-so to me… not really hungry to eat… wanted to eat more but saw the ladies at my table macam makan sikit je, takkan i sorang je nak melantak?? haha…

comel tak kami, adik beradik ipar/biras?? hehe…

and the Best Dressed that night… jeng jeng jeng

We dressed him up like a punk kid that night to suit the theme “Black and White”. Tak perasan pun he looked punkish until somebody mentioned it.

Comel kan?? Wardrobe outfit bought by my sis-in-law Kak Ayu, direct from Korea and the shoes, Clarks from my sis Yana.

Lucky Izzuddin, kan? Kami tak spend on his attire pun except for his rambut spiky yg bubuh baby oil and terlupa nak sikat :p

Thinking that we could get a family portrait together….. Maybe have to try another event though (*event; coz I’m all dressed nicely ;p ). Or maybe upah professional photographer for our photoshoot if only we had the budget. Izzuddin jarang mahu senyum bila kami peluk dia.

sabtu yang seronok – last last weekend

Aktiviti weekend minggu lepas : 8hb May 2010
Jumaat malam tu bertolak ke Lembah Pangsun, Ulu Langat sebab abi ada program kt sana… 
biasalah kalau ada program macam ni, isteri dan anak2 ikut sekali tp tinggal separately. 
Sampai2 je ada BBQ lamb… and the marinate was excellent! 
Rasanya ada makan more than 3 slices of lamb that night.
Sampai kt dorm dah pukul 1am.. ingatkan izzuddin nak tidur tp tak, dia celik lompat2 atas badan ummi dia ni, macam rasa playground pulak. sampailah pukul 2am barulah dpt tidur… 
pagi Sabtu, anak masing2 bangun dan refreshing gitu… startlah nak main bersama… 
lompat sana sini, panjat2 katil… dah takde mainan, itulah jadi mainan diorang. Izzuddin pun join sekali main. 



pagi pukul 9am barulah bawak izzuddin main air kt sungai kecik area perkelahan tu. 



then dah naik pukul 10.30am, selepas mandi ku ngantuk plak. tidur, membiarkan izzuddin main ngan kawan2 nyer…pukul 11.30am dah kena packing2 checkout dari dorm tu.abi mmg ada program/discussion ngan ustaz dia.
sebelum lunch, tiba2 nmpk ni…. 



amboi2… sape suruh masuk balik sungai/parit??? grrrr….. 
boge*l lah anak aku dlm sungai tu. hehe… 
time lunch izzuddin penat sgt, tertidur time tgh menyuapkan diri sendiri… alahai anak ummi… 
tak sempat snap gambar.

petang kami ke Tournament Taekwando anjuran Amaal. 
kebanyakan budak sekolah rendah dan sekolah menengah yg take part. 
actually ku tak tau langsung belt taekwando ni ada berapa… tp yg paling tinggi belt hitam. 
oh no… abi belum belt hitam lg… entah bila… haha… 

ni antara aksi2 yg menarik… 


pastu ada lagi aksi lagi menarik…. 

dan yg ni paling menarik!! haha… :D  


smp rumah pukul 10mlm… pengsan!!!!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!

SELAMAT HARI IBU! 

ya… kali ini kami sambut Mother’s Day sedikit special dari biasa… 
Ada movie outing anjuran kelab ofis, filem Ironman 2 watak utama adalah Robert Downey Jr. 
Sebab semua orang dlm pawagam saling mengenali dan bawa keluarga… so abi benarkan kami tgk wayang ni. 
Izzuddin baik je dlm pawagam… cuma sesekali nampak bosan dan mahu lompat2 dan menjerit. 
Cara memujuknya… gunakan handphone, pasangkan YouTube video Playhouse Disney. 

Then after movie habis, gi lunch di Vivo, the curve… 

Review makanan? Pizzanya biasa2 sahaja… tak cukup moist, kering skit dohnya. 
Power juice free wih every pizza so we took campuran buah tembikai + epal + oren.


Tp ayam wing dia superb!! 
bolehlah gi lagi, untuk makan ayam wing dia je… keke… 



Dalam kesempatan ni, nak ucapkan Selamat Hari Ibu kepada mak, mak mertua ku dan semua ibu2 yg membaca post ini. Take the time to embrace the greatness of being a mother. Syurga di tapak kaki ibu :D

So been busy lately the past weeks. 
what have i been doing?? well, quite a lot. 

the best part is… stock for Ammar’s Treehouse has arrived.

Last 2 Saturday’s, got to visit some great friends of mine, Umi Faryhah, Alia and NeqYan.
We were good friends during boarding school years and Umi was my roommate in our rented house before I got married and moved out. 

This is what Umi gave Izzuddin and me, a pair of cute stokings. 
*pics to be inserted later ;p 

Oh, we did a joke about her name, Umi. Takkan Izzuddin nak panggil Umi, ‘Umi’ kan?? 
Kena sepak karang… hehe… so she’ll be known as Auntie Umi. 

Alia was also a very helpful friend, she was the first person that taught Izzuddin how to breastfeed. 
The reason was, masa Izzuddin baru lahir tu… Dia malas nak hisap my nipples. 
So Alia taught him by putting her jari kelingking kt langit2 dia… and without a problem, he started sucking. 
Once he got the hand of it, she gave Izzuddin to me, and he tried sucking my nipples.
Finally, he could latch on and try as hard as he could, though the first 2 days still only colustrom that was fed. 

This is a picture of Dr Alia, helping a newborn baby (Izzuddin). Btw, she’s a pediatric in Putrajaya :D  
Doakan suaminya seorang doktor juga beransur pulih dari kemalangan kereta bulan lepas.

I’ve been spending a lot of money last week coz I had to change my Neo tyres. 
All botak and makan kiri sebab alignment dah lari. 
Let’s just say I spent third quarter of one thousand just for all this replacement. Urrgghhh… 
And to say my budget at that time was only RM300!!??
I blame all the potholes at the entrance of my house. There are sooo many potholes!!! 
Arrgghhh!!

Are you interested with branded handbags/wallets? 
I was a fan of Braun Buffel and managed to get one wallet during Jusco sale. 
Unfortunately I lost this wallet last year, tercicir… sedih sangat…
and had to do all the IC, lisence replacement, kad debit, kad kredit.. kad ahli… sangatlah menyusahkan. 

Anyway, baru2 ni ku terpikat dengan wristlet COACH. 
Kalau kt outlet Malaysia, agak mahal ok harganya. 
Apa kata cuci2 mata kt blog ni : Affordable Style 
Jangan risau, saya pasti barangannya adalah genuine (asli) kerana rakan saya yang menjualnya. 

Ayuh ke Affordable Style dan dapatkan barangan Coach dengan harga yang sangat berpatutan!!

izzuddin pergi berenang kali kedua, actually last weekend. 

kalau masih ingat, ini first attempt izzuddin main air dalam sungai bulan mei 2009 kat sg congkak. 
this time, dia dah setahun dua bulan and finally we had time for an outing to play in the pool. 
aktiviti kali ni di join oleh cousin2 izzuddin belah abi, yang sebenarnya dah berumur 10 dan 8tahun… keke… 
too much difference, but the spirit as a kid still the same (“,)

since we will be going to the pool occassionally after this, we just bought his first swimsuit last night. 
yet to be worn until the next outing to the pool. 
sape2 berminat nak join, bolehlah set date with us k.. we got a good place to have a swim!

gelagat baby, to be exact… don’t say i didn’t warn you all… aha… 
and i’m exploring the wonders of using Photoscape… 
sangat mudah dan senang nak combine2 gambar. 

1. masa usrah pemuda pandan; izzuddin, nik aziz, fateh all playing sementara orang besar dgr naqib berceramah. 

2. izzuddin main dengan anak irfan, aufa… dan anak nita (not in picture). 
izzuddin ngan aufa ni umur sebaya beza 5 hari je. comel je tgk gelagat diorang. 
3. izzuddin kira duit utk masuk dalam tabung. sebenarnya dia tengah kirai (sepahkan) duit syiling abi yg dikumpul setiap hari (orang laki tak suka simpan syiling dalam poket).. amat bahaya jika dibenarkan main berseorangan, pastikan anda berada berdekatan anak dan sentiasa waspada dengan tindak tanduknya. 

4. izzuddin seronok main stereng neo… 

ya, suka nyer dia! 

5. izzuddin dengan poster baru ABC dia… tiap hari kena nyanyi lagu “A B C”. 
tp dia goyang2 punggung bila dengar lagu tu. nak cari poster huruf jawi pulak. abaikan masking tape yg kami guna untuk tampal poster pada dinding, sbb tak tentu lagi nak letak mana… dan ikut petua Martha Stewart, gunakan masking tape supaya cat tak tertanggal (semalam check, tertanggal gak cat at one side.. dusshhh) 

sukanya tengok izzuddin ammar semakin membesar!!
